Article Processing Charge
Open access and article processing charge (APC)
All articles published under IBN are made freely and permanently available under an Open Access model, ensuring that research output can be accessed, read, distributed, and reused without restriction by any user worldwide. In alignment with international publishing standards, IBN follows a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) system to support the essential editorial and production services required for high-quality scholarly publishing, including rigorous peer review coordination, plagiarism screening, professional copyediting, typesetting, long-term digital archiving, and journal management infrastructure.
For manuscripts that are accepted following peer review, an APC of 100 USD (United States Dollars) is applied. This fee is not related to submission or review decisions and is only charged after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. The APC ensures that the published article remains freely accessible to all readers without subscription barriers and supports the sustainability of the publishing workflow. Payment may be made in either BDT or USD, depending on the author’s preference and institutional arrangements, and invoices are issued only through official IBN communication channels.
IBN does not impose charges for manuscript submission, editorial processing, page usage, color printing, or manuscript withdrawal.
Authors will receive an official invoice from IBN following acceptance of their manuscript, which will be sent to the designated corresponding author or payment contact provided during submission. It is important to note that only invoices issued directly by IBN are valid for payment processing, and authors are advised to disregard any third-party payment requests. IBN does not authorize external agencies or intermediaries to collect publication fees under any circumstances, ensuring a secure and transparent financial process for all contributors.
Applicable taxes, including VAT or other regional levies, may be added in accordance with national financial regulations where relevant. Researchers encouraged to verify institutional or funding body support prior to submission, as many universities and research organizations provide financial assistance or full coverage of APCs for open access publication.
To ensure a smooth publication process, authors are strongly advised to submit well-prepared manuscripts with clear scientific English, properly formatted figures, and complete adherence to journal formatting requirements. Addressing language quality and technical presentation prior to submission helps avoid delays during review and production stages. Where necessary, authors may choose professional language or figure editing services to improve manuscript clarity and presentation quality before final acceptance.
IBN is committed to maintaining accessibility, transparency, and integrity in scholarly communication, ensuring that publication costs remain clearly defined and that all accepted research is disseminated globally without access restrictions.
